Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an enabling
technology that is gaining a strong momentum in the business world
driven by mandates from early adopters such as Wal-Mart and the
Department of Defense. The technology offers huge possibilities for
businesses to turn real-time data into actionable information,
streamline their processes and gain efficiencies. In addition, it is
creating enormous new non-traditional applications such as Electronic
Tolls or Cattle Tracking. The top learning objectives for this meeting
will be to look at case studies that demonstrate successful RFID
projects and understand some possible paths to RFID adoption for your
company.
